For our second participation at Luxembourg Art Week 2026, we were delighted to present a carefully curated selection of works that highlighted both established voices and exciting emerging talent.
At the heart of our presentation stood the masterful charcoal drawings by Joren Van Acker. His exploration of the maritime world, captured the imagination of visitors. Van Acker’s works evoke a quiet nostalgia, especially with the work 'Your Ship Is Coming In', a fishing boat coming in at 2 meter in high.
A longing for escape and open horizons that resonated strongly with both viewers and collectors.
We also showcased new works by Johan Tahon, whose sculptural language continues to evolve with profound sensitivity. His bronzes in the signature patine en croûte and his white-glazed ceramics brought themes of transformation and rebirth into focus. With their deep, contemplative eyes and forward-gazing expressions, these figures invited reflection on inner change and the search for new paths.
To create a dynamic and balanced presentation, we included works by Steven Baelen and Mauro Desmedt.
Baelen’s figurative-abstract interior scene added a subtle tension between familiarity and distortion while Mauro,'s 'Monolith', a striking negative photoprint, captured significant attention throughout the fair.
Our presence at Luxembourg Art Week 2026 proved to be a success. We were honored to place several major works into important private collections, reaffirming the strength of our program and the growing appreciation for the artists we represent.
