For ART PARIS, Studio23 is proud to present a dialogue between two artists whose practices meet across generations, mediums, and sensibilities: Joren Van Acker and Johan Tahon. Bringing together a young emerging talent and an established artist, this presentation creates a powerful exchange between two visions, two styles, and two moments in artistic life. What unites them is a shared drive to deepen their craft and to move the viewer—emotionally, intuitively, and viscerally.
Joren Van Acker’s charcoal drawings are at once poetic and haunting, hovering between abstraction and figuration. They evoke fragile presences and inner landscapes, charged with silence and tension. These same qualities echo in the sculptures of Johan Tahon, whose expressive figures carry a raw, human intensity. Together, their works form a quiet yet powerful conversation—one that bridges generations and invites the viewer into a shared emotional terrain.
This marks Studio23’s first participation in a Parisian art fair, a meaningful step for the gallery. We are excited to share our vision with a new audience and hope that our selection resonates, lingers, and leaves space for reflection.
